Your body changes constantly at 14 years of age, trading in the characteristics of childhood for adulthood. Changes in appearance and height also bring about changes in weight. Given the variety of body types, it can be hard to determine what weight is appropriate for you. Consider your gender and height when you decide how much to weigh.
Your body weight can be more important than your physical appearance. If a person’s body weight is low, this could indicate that it isn’t absorbing nutrients as well. It could be due to coeliac disease, or an eating disorder like bulimia. Obesity can indicate a problem but also lead to poor health. This can lead to diabetes, arthritis, and infertility.
More than your physical appearance, body weight matters.
- A person who is overweight can indicate that they are not getting enough nutrients.
Body Mass Index
The body mass index (or body mass indicator) is a method doctors use to determine the patient’s height and weight. Divide your weight by 703, then multiply it by 703. If you are using meters and kilograms, multiply your weight by the square measure of your height. An average weight will be between 18.5 and 24,000.
To determine the patient’s height and weight, doctors use the body Mass Index (or the BMI), which is used to measure their body mass.
- Multiply your weight in pounds by 703 then divide it by your height in inches.
The average male 14 year old is 5′ 3″ (63″) and 5ft 6 inches (665″) tall. He should therefore weigh between 47.2 to 69.9kg. You should be able to weigh in at 63 inches between 47.2 kg and 63.5 kg. At 64 inches you can expect to be between 48.5 and 63.5kg. At 65 inches, your weight should range between 50.3 to 67.6kg. You should also weigh 51.7-69.9kg at 66 inches.
An average fourteen-year-old male should be between 5ft 3in (63 inches), and 5ft 6in (65 inches), and should weigh between 47.2 und 69.9kg.

Normal weights for people who are 63 inches tall include 47.2 kg and 63.5kg. Normal weight for someone who is 64 inches tall is 48.5 to 65.8kg.

Take into account
Because it doesn’t give insight into the body’s composition, the body mass index is not able to provide an accurate assessment of one’s weight. A BMI of 14 years old may show more fat than is healthy. Because a 14-year old is strong due to his or her athletic activities, his/her BMI could be unhealthy.
