Grants For Skateparks

Skateparks are a great way to give youths a chance at a more active and recreational lifestyle than traditional team sports. Many funding opportunities are available for community skateparks. These funds can be used to help build, maintain and design the parks. There are opportunities that are specific to community skateparks, and others that are open to all non-profit organizations. Others are available for those who have demonstrated community need. Foundations that are focused on youth recreation are the best ones to consider for funding skateparks.

Make a request for funding and push to have the skatepark included in the budget. Get support from local officials and business leaders who would be most benefitted by the creation of a skating rink.
