Meta 357 Alarm Instructions

Meta Systems’ M357T motorbike alarm system is available. It has many features including remote arming and engine immobilization. You should familiarize yourself with the operating instructions of the Meta Systems M357T motorbike alarm system before you use it.

You must turn off the ignition of your motorcycle.

After turning off your ignition, wait 50 seconds before pressing the M357T button.

Your motorcycle’s direction indicator should flash two times. When this happens, two distinct tones are heard.

For 26 seconds, wait for the LED display flash to turn on. They will blink at an increasing speed. To fully arm your alarm system, do not touch any object.

Continue the procedure of arming your alarm system until it flashes.

The LED light will blink and you can press the remote button to test the alarm. When you push the remote button, an audible sound will be heard to signal that the alarm is being tested. Each alarm input will be tested by the system and each one will emit an audible sound.

  • Allow the LED display time to flash 26 seconds.
  • When you push the remote control, you will hear an audible click to signal that you are entering the testing phase.

Do not start the test cycle until it is complete. After the testing is complete, the alarm will be returned to arming mode and the LED display will blink at an increasing speed. The alarm has been armed for 26 seconds.

Steer the bike in your direction.

The remote control can be pressed. Press the remote control. Your motorcycle will display its direction indicator and you will hear an audible sound.

Within 50 seconds after activating your alarm, you must turn the ignition key on your bike. The alarm will be reset and impounded if the bike is not started within 50 seconds.

  • Don’t wait for the test to be completed.
  • The alarm will be reset and the bike immobilized if it is not started within 50 seconds.

Start your motorcycle’s engine. Your LED display will turn on.

In 10 seconds, you can turn off the motorcycle’s ignition. Slowly, the LED light will flash.

  • Within 10 seconds, turn off the ignition of your motorcycle.
  • Start your motorcycle’s engine.
  • Within 10 seconds, turn off the ignition of your motorcycle.

Once the LED flashes the amount of times it corresponds to your first digit PIN number, you should turn your motorcycle’s ignition on. If your PIN number 45678, for example, turn the ignition on once it flashes four times.

Within 10 seconds, turn off the motorcycle’s ignition. You will see a flashing LED.

  • Start your motorcycle’s engine.
  • Within 10 seconds, turn off the ignition of your motorcycle.
  • Start your motorcycle’s engine.
  • Within 10 seconds, turn off the ignition of your motorcycle.

Once the LED blinks five times, turn on the motorcycle’s ignition. This number corresponds with the second digit in your PIN number. If your PIN number 45678 is for example, turn on the motorcycle’s ignition after it flashes five times.

In 10 seconds, you can turn off your bike’s ignition. You will see a flashing LED.

  • Start your motorcycle’s engine.
  • Within 10 seconds, turn off the ignition of your motorcycle.
  • Start your motorcycle’s engine.
  • Within 10 seconds, turn off the ignition of your motorcycle.

Keep going until you’ve entered the five PIN number numbers. The alarm system will activate the immobilisation function if you correctly enter your PIN number. You can then drive your motorcycle. The LED will blink if you type the wrong PIN. You will have to enter it again. You will be prevented from entering the PIN again for 30 minutes if you enter it incorrectly three times.

  • Once the LED blinks two times, turn on the motorcycle’s ignition.
  • The LED will blink if you type the wrong PIN. You will have to enter it again.

Your alarm system will include a five-digit PIN code. It is found on an orange remote control card. These instructions are only for the M357T system. There are two similar models: the M357TV2 & the M357TV2>. You can find their operation instructions in the Resources section.
