- It is made in a way similar to its cousin, blue cheese, but no mould spores are added and it is sold at four weeks of age.
Slice the Stilton cheese into 170gr. pieces. Wrap the pieces individually with several layers of clear cling film.

Wrap a double layer of aluminium foil over the cling film. You can keep these pieces of cheese in the freezer for six to 10 weeks without loss of flavour.
Defrost the wrapped Stilton cheese by placing it in the refrigerator for 24 hours. This helps to prevent moisture loss.
