Cleaning Coir Carpets In

Coir carpets are made from coconut husk. Coconut husk has elastic properties and can withstand a lot. It is an excellent choice for carpets subject to heavy foot traffic. Coir carpets are just like any other carpets. Dirt, dust, and dirt can build up in the fibers. Your carpet may look old and stained. The durability of Coir carpets makes them very easy to clean. Spread a dry powder cleaner liberally on the coir rug. You can also make your own dry powder cleaning product by mixing equal amounts of baking soda with cornstarch. The powder can be enhanced with dried flowers or spices, such as cloves, cinnamon, or lavender.

For at least 30 minutes, leave the powder on the coconut coir.

Your vacuum will remove any traces of the powder.

You should repeat this process every six months to maintain the best coir carpet smell.
