I imagine that when Judith Mwobobia set out to write an article on a top Kenyan Production Designer, the choice of who to base it on was one of the easiest she’s ever made; a no brainer. For in the production design game, very few players come close (in experience, skill and achievement) to Spielworks Media’s Wanjiku Mbugua.
And the sky seems to be the limit for this leading lady. She’s been involved in some of Kenya’s biggest film and TV projects, has an AMVCA nomination under her belt and continues to set new industry standards in the production design business.
